What is a Person-Centered Plan?

A Person-Centered Plan ("PCP") is a document that captures a person's strengths, hopes, supports, and goals in their own words. It's used by families, regional centers, school districts, and adult-services programs to align everyone around one shared picture of the person — not just their diagnosis.

Where does my plan data live?

Plan content lives on your device — in your browser's local storage while you work, and in encrypted .sdp save files when you export. PCP Maker's servers never receive your plan content. We can authenticate you, charge your subscription, and deliver the editor, but the actual plan never leaves your machine.

How is the PDF generated, then?

PDF rendering happens locally on your computer. The editor posts to a local helper that listens on 127.0.0.1 (loopback only). The PDF comes back from there. Your plan data is never uploaded to PCP Maker or any third party for rendering.

What about HIPAA?

PCP Maker is designed to operate outside HIPAA scope by not handling protected health information on your behalf. We do not sign Business Associate Agreements through the service. You remain responsible for any HIPAA, state, or contractual obligations that apply to your own practice. See our Privacy Policy for the full compliance posture.

What does the 3-day free trial include?

You get the full editor (all 18 sections), the wizard, and PDF export for three days — no card required. Trial exports carry a small "PCP Maker" watermark to discourage long-term unpaid use, but the workflow is identical. After three days you choose a Basic or Pro plan to continue.

What's the difference between Basic and Pro?

Basic ($49/mo) includes the core editor with all 18 sections, the standard wizard, encrypted save, and polished PDF export — everything you need to build a complete plan. Pro ($89/mo) adds total customization (branding, sections, layouts), the PCP Interview guided wizard, provider details direct plug-in (bring vendor profiles straight into a goal's resources without re-typing), advanced editor features and templates, two-factor auth, audit log, and priority support.

Why is sign-up invite-only?

We're growing the membership intentionally so support stays fast and the feedback loop with users stays tight. Get an invite code from your trainer or from anyone who already has a PCP Maker account — every member can refer up to 5 new people, and trainer accounts can refer unlimited.

How do I become a trainer?

Trainer status is granted manually by AavionD. If you onboard multiple families or teams as part of your practice and want a trainer account, contact us via aaviond.com.

Can I share a plan with the participant's family?

Yes — export the polished PDF and email or print it. The plan is the participant's; they can hand it to their team, school, or regional center. For collaborative editing, share the encrypted .sdp file along with the unlock passphrase via a channel you trust.

How is mileage handled for goal resources?

Each goal resource carries a vendor address and a mileage field. The "Lookup" button opens Google Maps with directions pre-filled from your home address to the vendor's address, so you can read the round-trip mileage off Maps and copy it back into the field.

How do I cancel or delete my account?

Cancel anytime from the Manage Billing link in Settings. To fully delete your account and workspace, scroll to the "Delete account" section in Settings — encrypted plan files on your device are untouched even after deletion.

How do I contact support?
